Caddick completes DPD logistics hub in County Durham
Caddick Construction has reached practical completion on a 63,000 sq ft distribution hub for DPD at Forrest Park, a £250m industrial and logistics development in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham.
The purpose-built facility was developed by Richardson Barberry and will serve DPD’s regional operations under a 25-year lease.
Located on an eight-acre site near Junction 59 of the A1(M), the hub has the potential to support up to 250 additional jobs as the parcel delivery company expands in the North East.
Built to BREEAM Excellent standards, the scheme adds to the industrial and logistics accommodation being delivered at Forrest Park, where infrastructure investment is supporting future development phases.
