Pick Everard has been reappointed to the Government Commercial Agency’s RM6356 Construction Professional Services 2 framework, giving the consultancy access to major public sector construction and infrastructure projects over the next four years.

Pick Everard has been appointed across four lots covering general infrastructure and built environment services, project management, commercial management and international services.

The consultancy said the appointment positions it to support public sector capital programmes in areas including healthcare, housing, transport and infrastructure.

Alastair Hamilton, Chief Operations Officer at Pick Everard, said: “This is a major appointment for Pick Everard and a proud point in our history, reflecting the hard work, expertise and consistent success of our teams. Inclusion on this framework is reserved for firms that have demonstrated the capability and performance expected of a leading consultancy.

“This will provide us with a solid foundation to play a leading role in priority upgrades and major capital investment programmes that are set to transform communities and inspire further investment and growth across the UK.

“This appointment comes at a time when the UK construction industry is getting ready to deliver on the Government’s major infrastructure programmes.

“As these pipelines are accelerated there will be a heavy reliance on high quality professional services, such as lead consultancy and support services, protecting investments and keeping projects on schedule in addition to delivering excellent value for money.

Builds on previous government framework work

The reappointment follows Pick Everard’s previous inclusion on the RM6165 Construction Professional Services 1 framework, where it provided consultancy support on government and public sector projects.

Ben Killeen, Group Strategic Development Director at Pick Everard, said: “Securing a role on the Government Commercial Agency’s framework is hugely significant and will play a key role in our strategy moving ahead.

“This will allow us to optimise and demonstrate our strengths as a multi-disciplinary consultancy in major public sector projects, building on existing relationships and developing new partnerships.
