Jones Homes gets green light for 80-home Wilmslow development
Jones Homes is set to deliver 80 new homes off Dean Row Road in Wilmslow after Cheshire East Council’s Strategic Planning Board approved the wider scheme in principle.
The Jones Homes element will comprise 56 homes for private sale and 24 affordable homes for social rent or shared ownership.
The development will form part of a wider 168-home neighbourhood being delivered through a joint venture between Jones Homes and Taylor Wimpey.
168-home Wilmslow scheme approved by council
The wider development was approved by Cheshire East Council’s Strategic Planning Board on 16 September, subject to the completion of a Section 106 agreement.

The agreement will secure developer contributions towards local infrastructure and services, including schools, sports facilities, allotments and open space.
The 80 homes being delivered by Jones Homes will comprise two, three, four and five-bedroom houses.
Jones Homes plans air source heat pumps and habitat improvements
The development will include green open space, footpaths and children’s play areas.
Each home will be heated using an air source heat pump, while the plans also include improvements to wildlife habitats.
Carol Barlow, sales and marketing director for Jones Homes North West, said: “We are pleased that councillors have approved our plans for this site off Dean Row Road in Wilmslow, an extension of the popular Heathfield Farm development, which will provide a range of high-quality housing for the local area.
“We have worked closely with the local council to tailor our proposals to the needs of the local community.
“This will be a highly attractive place for people to put down roots, with green open spaces, footpaths and children’s play areas. It will also be sustainable, with each house heated by an air source heat pump and significant improvements in wildlife habitats.
