Cottsway Housing Association has reappointed Travis Perkins Managed Services (TPMS) to supply materials for its repairs and maintenance programme under a contract running until 2033.

The agreement will support maintenance work across the majority of Cottsway’s more than 6,000 homes across West Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Worcestershire.

Materials will continue to be supplied through a dedicated TPMS branch in Witney, which operates exclusively for Cottsway’s repairs and maintenance operatives.

The standalone Witney facility is staffed by five full-time colleagues and provides the materials required by Cottsway’s maintenance teams.

The renewed contract builds on the existing partnership between the organisations, which began in 2019.

Cottsway will also increase its use of TPMS’ TPgo Digital Suite, including the TPgo Order app, giving operatives the ability to order, track and collect materials required for repair work.

The TPgo Order app will allow Cottsway’s trades operatives to pre-order materials before travelling to the branch, with products available for collection when they arrive.

TPMS said the system is intended to reduce time spent travelling and improve the efficiency of Cottsway’s maintenance teams.

Jos Bailey, Account Manager for TPMS, said: “We are really pleased that our partnership with Cottsway will now run through until 2033.

“As well as continuing to use TPgo Data, which will have given them greater visibility of the products they are using, part of the new contract will see their operatives gain access to our cutting-edge TPgo Order app, which will increase the efficiency of their teams by reducing time spent on the road and enabling pre-ordering so that all the materials they need are available as soon as they arrive at either branch.

“Cottsway have been brilliant at making the most of their social value accrual, winning two of our Better Together Social Value Awards, and we look forward to continuing to help local communities in partnership.”

Seven-year contract includes social value work

The new agreement will also continue the social value programme delivered by TPMS and Cottsway since 2019.

The organisations have worked together on a range of initiatives supporting local communities, with the partnership receiving recognition through TPMS’ Better Together Social Value Awards.

David Baddeley, from Cottsway, said: “It is great to begin a new contract with TPMS and build on the successful materials supply service developed over the last seven years.
