Bellway project manager recognised in regional award win
Bellway Project Manager Peter Lawrie has won the NHBC Pride in the Job Large Builder Regional Award for Scotland for his work at the Earl’s Way development in Glenrothes.
The award will see Lawrie represent Scotland at the NHBC Pride in the Job Supreme Awards Final in London in January, where he will compete in the Large Builder category.
It is the second time Lawrie has won the Scottish Regional Award for the same development, having previously received the award for Earl’s Way in 2023.

He also competed in the NHBC Supreme Awards Final in the Large Builder category in 2024.
Speaking about his latest award, Lawrie said: “This is a huge testament to the contractors and everyone involved in the development. The award belongs to the whole team and not myself. I am extremely proud of what we have achieved at Earl’s Way and grateful to everyone who has played a part.”
NHBC Pride in the Job competition
Around 7,500 site managers are invited each year to enter the NHBC Pride in the Job competition.
Entrants undergo assessments of their developments, including spot checks, with successful candidates receiving a Quality Award before progressing to the Seal of Excellence Awards.
Four Regional Award winners are then selected across the small builder, medium builder, large builder and multi-storey categories.

“He leads by example, brings people with him and has created an exacting culture across all the build disciplines.
“Peter thoroughly deserves this recognition, but I know he would be the first to say that this is a team achievement – the Earl’s Way team and supply chain have played a huge part in what has been achieved, and they should all be proud of the success.
“To see Peter win his second Scottish Regional award with Bellway Scotland East was a fantastic moment for all of us, and I am personally delighted for him and the team.
“I know they will represent Bellway and Scotland with real distinction at the Supreme Awards in January.”
