Darlington homes designed for rural setting

The homes have been designed using materials and architectural details intended to reflect the surrounding rural area.

The properties will feature a country brick style, with render used on prominent plots, alongside red or grey roofs and brick detailing around windows.

The development will also include electric vehicle charging points and an orchard, alongside green open space, footpaths and trees.

“We have now released the first homes for sale and are already seeing a considerable amount of interest from people looking for a new energy-efficient home on the edge of the picturesque Durham countryside, yet within easy reach of Darlington’s many amenities.

“Work is now well underway on site, and we anticipate the first residents will be able to move into their new homes in spring 2027.”
